Welcome to day 2 of Valentine’s Day Ideas for your Homeschool Series: STEM/STEAM.  If your children are anything like mine they would much rather spend their days doing hands-on projects than book learning. It’s so much more fun doing activities, sharing ideas, and learning together!

We all know with Valentine’s Day comes all those marshmallows, conversation hearts, and candy. So why not put them to good use (other than sugar intake and cavities). So for your hands-on kiddos and potential Engineers here are your sugar-coated STEM projects (and some not so coated).

8 STEM/STEAM activities for you to check out

   Heart Rocket Candy Structures

Cupid’s Arrow Math Game

Valentine’s Day Coding

Conversation Heart Catapult

Cupid’s Arrow Balloon Game

Build Lego Hearts

Build a Valentine’s Spinner

Conversation Heart Tower

Thank you Little Bins for Little Hands, Teach Beside Me, The Stem Laboratory, Steam Powered Family, and Math Geek Mama for all of your awesome ideas.

If you missed day 1 you can find it here.

Much Love & Many Blessings!
